Rocky Mountain IFS Community welcomes IFS Lead Trainer Chris Burris for a training on “Working with Challenging Protectors and Critics”

Who hasn’t encountered a relentless critic–in a client’s or one’s own system? Or tried to connect with a protector, only to ultimately find yourself arguing with it? Or experienced dread because you’re going to see a client who has protective parts that make it hard for you to access your own Self-energy? Why do some parts seem so difficult?!? Join IFS Lead Trainer Chris Burris for this experiential workshop on working with challenging protectors and learn to:

Describe the 4 types of challenging protectors

Name 3 key interventions for befriending them

Describe the nature of challenging protectors

Further develop the use of insight and direct access to work with them

Identify 2 ways to engender cooperation and collaboration with them

This workshop is designed for anyone who has completed IFS Level 1 training, and participants should be prepared to work with their own systems.

Register before Sept. 1, and receive early-bird pricing of $115; register on or after Sept. 1 and pay full price of $140. Participants will be eligible to receive IFS CEUs. Contact admin@rockymountainifs.com with any questions. This workshop will be limited to 48 participants.
