Mariel Pastor, MA, LMFT, is an IFS lead trainer and international presenter trained in IFS since 1998. Based in Portland, Oregon, she is adjunct faculty at Portland State University and is known for her clarity, warmth, and humor. Mariel has a special interest in Integral Psychology and incorporates somatic therapies into her work. In addition to creating the Unburdened System mandala and workshops, Mariel developed Character Mapping for actors, writers, and directors in search of authenticity for themselves and their characters. She works primarily with individual adults, and supervises interns.
Cece Sykes, LCSW, ACSW, is an IFS Senior Trainer for both U.S. and international trainings. She has more than 30 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families, and specializes in working with the effects of trauma and addiction. Cece also has a special interest in how various spiritual practices intersect with therapy, and with the impact of psychotherapy upon the life of the therapist. She frequently offers workshops and consultation on these and other related topics. Cece lives and works in Chicago.
Frank Guastella Anderson, MD, is a psychiatrist who has spoken extensively on the Neurobiology of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Dissociation. After discovering Internal Family Systems, his passion has evolved into the integration of neuroscience, trauma and IFS. He is Chair of the Foundation for Self Leadership and has served on the Research Advisory Committee and Speakers Bureau for The Center for Self Leadership. He wrote a chapter in Internal Family Systems Therapy: New Dimensions, “Who’s Taking What?” Connecting Neuroscience, Psychopharmacology and Internal Family Systems for Trauma. He is a supervisor at The Trauma Center in Brookline, MA, and maintains a private practice.
Michi Rose, PhD, MSW has been innovative in the development of Internal Family Systems. She has taught basic and advanced training programs and booster workshops, including workshops on IFS and Guides and IFS and Spirituality. She has a private practice at Inner Solutions for Change in Kalamazoo, Michigan and leads workshops on personal and spiritual growth in several cities.
